How They Met

Risto and Jazzy met through the Michigan Marriage Pact – an annual match-making questionnaire that opens every year at the University of Michigan, though frankly few people actually expect to meet their spouse here. They started texting, went on a few dates, and fast forward to this year where they officially became husband and wife 🙂 Their day was full of intention.

The Ceremony

They exchanged personal vows in front of family and friends by the water, under the shade of the willow trees. She walked down the aisle as a trio of friends from college played the piano, cello, and violin, and the storms that were forecasted earlier that day parted. The evening sun was a hazy red due to the wildfire residue that drafted down to Michigan, and it yet it had a way of feeling like a scene out of a movie.

The Reception & Send-Off

At the end of the night, they shared a private last dance and were sent off on their honeymoon in a classic sparkler exit where their loved family and friends chased them all the way down the drive.
